The comic presents the stories of three modern girls from the Cyclades. Each heroine completes her own journey in the islands of the Archipelago, following the guidance of women who connected their presence and identity with these islands, such as Ariadne and Leto. Goddesses and mortals, modern or ancient, the women of the Cyclades from each era coexist in this story to narrate what it means to be a woman in the Cyclades, a Kykladitissa. The comic was inspired by the stories unraveled in the exhibition Kykladitisses: Untold stories of women in the Cyclades, presented at the Museum of Cycladic Art.
