The comprehensive catalogue of an exhibition that was presented in the Museum of Cycladic in the summer of 2006, focusing on the influence of ancient Mediterranean cultures on the thought and work of important 20th century artists (Brancusi, Giacometti, Picasso, Matisse, Derain, etc.). The catalogue includes an informative introduction by the curator of the exhibition, Prof. Friedrich Teja Bach, full entries and colour plates of all 170 objects exhibited and extensive bibliography.
